Result for Australian Grand Prix is out! Expecting the unexpected!!

Kazuki Nakajima got into a accident. This is what he said obtained from AT&T Williams website: I had a quite a big accident on lap 17 when I ran wide at turn four and I hit the kerb, which unsettled the car and then I lost the rear. It was quite a fast impact, but I had a precautionary check in the medical centre, everything is fine and physically I am okay, but of course the outcome - my retirement - hurts! The race was really enjoyable, we had a good pace, good fuel and good tyres, so I have to keep all the positives in mind and take these forward to Malaysia next weekend.

Hope this doesn't dampen his motivation n his spirit to excel in next week Malaysia race!

2009 Formula One ING Australian Grand Prix

I doubt I will be watching it but still, hope that Kazuki Nakajima will do well in it. The 1 and only Asian-Japanese driver in the race.

This young dude is 24years old this year. This is his 2nd year of F1 racing competition. Though he is not 1 of the hot favourites, hopefully 1 day he will become a black horse and prove to others that don't think highly of him!

The usual hot favourites are Lewis Hamilton, Hekki Kovalainen - McLaren Mercedes team and Kimi Räikkönen, Felipe Massa - Ferrari team. No doubt they are stronger racers that usually top the table, there are also times that they don't perform as expected, or their car might not be in the top position or others. Which ever the case is, Lewis Hamilton seems to be the least favourite guy among the drivers. This might due to his driving style, his attitude. The way he drives does show that he is a very daring person, is a risk taker. Though he is not popular among the drivers, definitely he does have lots of fans out there supporting him, due to gentleman charactertic of him. None of this 4 are my top favourite but I don't dislike any of them either. Hopefully it will be a good fight tml!

2008 Season of F1 has ended with the end of the Brazil race, which has just ended about an hr ago. I must say its a nice and interesting race. Nv regret watching and its one of the more interesting race, among those that i've watched. Perhaps its also the crucial race, determining who will be the world champion. Its a race btw Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton. Its a good race for Massa, he started off well and ended off nicely, without the dramatic inccident that happened in Sg. Its quite a challenge for Hamilton, he started the race in the 4th position. 2 cars ran wide and ended their race immediately, after competing the most 1/8 of the race. Thats the reality, trained hard but effort vanished within a sec. Its quite sad to see the Ferrari rejoicing for Massa's victory, thinking that Lweis will come in 6th and Massa will win the world champion title. Later then they realise that Lewis came in 5th and the titles goes to him. They look so disspointed. Its really 一场欢喜，一场空。

I'm impressed by Lewis's skill. No matter you like or dislike him, u've got to admit that he has guts, he has the skills, he dares to make the move! The way u see him trying to overtake at some bend, u will sweat for him too. Just abit of losing focus, his car might just run wide and crashes. He is the man who write a new history now, the youngest racer, 23 yrs old, winning the F1 World Championship Tittle. Congrats to him and he does deserve it. But the qns is, it seems that Glock is in the 5th place while Lewis 6th, just before crossing the finishing line. What happend in the end that Lewis turned out to be in the 5th place. There will be alot to be questioned. Someone mention that cause Glock did not pit the 3rd time to change to wet tyres and the car was abit hard to control. It might be true. Perhaps, lady luck is just on Lewis's side!

Kazuki did not have a great race. He started in the 16th place and ended in the 17th place. This is his 1st grand prix and he make his debut last yr in Brazil. Its like completing the 1st cycle of it. I guess he has learnt alot from the past expereince and hope 2009 will be a better year for him! Being 23 this yr, he has still youth to prove himself n to others that he can race n speed! :)

This year F1 seems especially meaningful and reachable to me, allowing me to gain much knowledge abt motor racing. Its a good 2008, the very 1st time that I started to follow F1 more closely. Its a nice experience and I know there will be more to come in 2009! It'll start in late march and SGP will be in Sept again. So for now, it comes to the end of F1 2008 season. :D

Formula 1 Singapore Singtel Grand Prix 2008 (26-28 Sep) is over but yet i'm still stuck in the F1 mood, in the gathering with 21.6L team mates, walking down to our sector, the Singapore Flyer, chatting away when there is no race in action and work together when we have to. Its really a superb experience which I find that all the effort in going down for trainings are worthwhile. Its great to be part of the team to make the 1st ever night race, the 1st ever F1 in Singapore happen. I feel lucky to be part of the 21.6L team. Perhaps cos our team is quite small as compared to other teams, I feel that we are able to be bonded more closely together. I'll miss the team, the cam-whoring session on the track; at our sector venue; at the pit lane; any and everywhere, the cars zooming pass, the racers, the crowd, everything there!

I want to be part of the 2009 crew that make SGP happens! I'll update with pictures soon, after all my projects dateline.

I had my first hands on F1 practice as a Observer today! It was held at Turf City and being late as usual, I took a cab down. -_- The weather there is freaking hot and having not enough sleep, i felt kinda head pain after standing under the scorching sun for the whole day! I realised I've got sun burnt when I reached home. The back part of my neck and my nose is burnt! My nose feels itchy! Arghh. Nevertheless, this training session is a good one for me. I get to know who are the people that I will be with during that 3.5 days. I get to feel and know how is it like to perform my duty in real, to report to race control and giving out right instruction. I'm really quite nervous and scared when I 1st used the walkie talkie. I don't really dare to speak in it and I got nervous when things happened and I'm not sure of what to report. Nevertheless, my group mates guided me along and my group IC from CAMS encourages me. Its good that we will help one another so that nothing will go wrong. In my group, there are only 3 gers and among the 3 of us, i'm the oldest!!! The other 2 are just 20! Haizz. Getting older and older each day! Oh yar, while nothing to do and looking here n there, I saw Jordan, my colleague, in another team. I din noe that he volunteered himself too. haha.

I've also collected my F1 uniform. Its orange overall. I feel so orangey wearing it! The uniform is soooooo big! Lucky I opened my M to see and realise that is way too longgg for me. I changed to S and its still long! I'm too short. I look weird in that unifrom! We have to return this to them after the event. Sianz, can't keep. But i know last day during sign in, they will give us a shirt. I think its a tee for memory as part of the team. I can't wait to see if its nice or not. haa

I will be so buzy next week. I'm filled with tests, a long-time no see friend and F1! It will be a exciting for week to look ahead for! Oh ya, and I've got my Jay's new song to accompany me! Wahahaha
